MVP Squirrel

My dear squirrels readers, I was happy to learn yesterday that I have been awarded the Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professional) award.

It's an honor to join the SharePoint MVP team and get in contact with best of the best in the SharePoint community.

Hi Natalya,

Congratulations for your MVP award.

I do understand that I am posting the comment in wrong blogpost, but I felt you would be more recptive to comments on latest blog.

Microsoft released their MOSS Infrastructure Update patch and it has issuses in it. In thier kb article http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=951695, Under Known issues discovered after release of this update section, they ackowleged that Public URL don't work. We held off insatlling this update because our configuration was getting hit in QA environment. Now they released their August Cumulative patch, and I still cannot see that they addressed this issuse.

We want to install the Infrastructure Update badly, because it solves many of our issuses. But we are not sure, if the Public URl issuse has been fixed or not?

Is there any workaround for the issuse AAM?

First of all I'd like to thank you all for your wonderful “Congrats”, I appreciate it.
Shaun, I would install it in your dev environment first and then apply August patch, that should fix it.
